BBC – transcription, translation & voiceovers - Spanish
The brief was to produce scripts from 8 hours of interviews conducted on the island of Mallorca - an island better known for its tourist nightlife than its wildlife.
The BBC was making a programme entitled Wild Mallorca. We transcribed 16 tapes – 12 Spanish and 4 English. A team of 3 transcribers and 4 translators worked on the project and learnt all about the rare midwife toad (ferreret), the black vulture and the loggerhead turtle.
Once the programme had been written, Communiqué provided 4 “voices” (Spanish nationals) to read the scripts in English. It was broadcast in March 2006 on BBC2.
